The position
You will together with the IT Consulting Procurement Team be responsible for securing that we engage the best partners and secure the best terms for Novo Nordisk. You will be co-developing our strategy as well as leading sourcing projects from initiation to final implementation.

This role includes a wide range of strategic and tactical procurement activities, such as:

• Develop, structure, and implement procurement strategies and activities within your area of responsibility in close collaboration with rest of the IT Consulting Procurement Team across our global organisation
• Close collaboration with stakeholders at all levels and managing your own pipeline of sourcing projects
• Contribute to all phases of sourcing and negotiations with suppliers
• Facilitate collaboration with strategic suppliers and drive Supplier Performance Management
• Maintain a consistent focus on optimising purchasing processes and procedures for the IT consulting program
• Daily point of contact towards IT consulting colleagues in India through sparring and use of best-practice

Qualifications
You hold a relevant academic degree, e.g. HD/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT engineer or similar, and have 2-4 years of experience from working in a procurement department and executing tender processes (RfP’s).

• Experience with strategic procurement and category management
• Experience with supplier negotiations and executing category strategies
• Project management skills, including the ability to develop business and project plans and drive problem solving
• Experience with procuring IT consultancy and/or management consultancy is an advantage together with having knowledge about IT methodologies like SAFE, Agile and Scrum
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Coupa Purchasing suite is an advantage

On a personal level, you are result-oriented and have great people skills and feel comfortable cooperating with colleagues at all levels, while being a true team player with the ability to challenge the current situation with strong communication and sharp analytical skills.

Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy.
