Solution Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll oversee the collective architecture discipline within our application customisation & operations delivery organisation. You’ll work with a continuously updated architectural runway and relevant architectural artefacts, ensuring that these are communicated, understood, and made available. Through your technical leadership, you’ll be accountable for current and future technology stacks. You’ll also be operating in a global matrix organisation across cultures and times zones and be the role model for architects and technical teams ensuring consistency around quality and forward-looking prospects.

Welcome to Architecture & Technology
You’ll be part of the Application Customisation & Operations delivery team where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of the leadership team alongside the Release Train Engineer and the Product Manager. You’ll constitute the leadership for the delivery organisation that steer value enabling solutions at the right quality level. The community will be working with the business in an agile delivery organisation. Our team oversees the largest application and technology portfolio, which cover deliveries to our power producing assets such as offshore and onshore windfarms, bio plants, and solar. As a team, we are involved in building a sustainable, green energy company, with diverse culture around the globe, whilst ensuring great cohesion and collaboration to build a successful architecture community.

You’ll play an important role in:

• developing solutions that meet the business needs and ensuring stable operations, through planning ahead and push our cloud focus
• overseeing the collective architecture discipline and through a continuously updated strategical outlook architectural runway and relevant artefacts ensuring that these are communicated
• leading a group of architects to design and develop a large application portfolio
• advising and overseeing the implementation of architecture designs that are secure, reliable, maintainable, scalable, usable, and performs well
• working closely with product owners and enterprise and infrastructure & security architects to incorporate company-wide architectures and clarify challenges progressing with agreed architectures.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have extensive experience in developing architectures and architecture guidelines within software development, application capability management and knowledge within application infrastructure/cloud setup
• have the ability to conduct technology analyses and research to assess future technologies
• can create overall technology standard and practices and ensure adherence
• are able to communicate architectural designs and decisions effectively and proactively to both team members, business, and IT stakeholders
• have leadership knowledge and organisation abilities, to communicate and guide the release train in architectural abilities
• have a problem solving and pragmatic attitude combined with a strategic mindset.
