JOB DESCRIPTION
Grazper is seeking an experienced front-end developer to join their team of highly talented engineers and developers, located in the heart of Copenhagen. This is an opportunity for any front-end developer with a vision for UX to shape the UI for a truly innovative AI organization.

Grazper’s AI solution is a camera-based AI that can accurately track people’s behaviors in large physical environments. Their main office is located just next to The Marble Church in central Copenhagen and their highly innovative development lab is located at Refshaleøen. Grazper is part of the Yokogawa family and operates under the umbrella of a Japanese company that holds a great position in the Nikkei Stock index. This ownership structure gives Grazper opportunities to work deeply with product development and innovation.

As the new front-end developer at Grazper, you will have a strong influence on the choice of frontend- and UI / UX technologies, frontend development pipeline, and even their product deployment options. At the same time, you will help create the frontend of AI, centered around human pose estimation, and with application in many domains of human activity, including healthcare, security, gaming, and sports. Grazper wants you to set the direction for their ‘look-and-feel’, and strike the right balance between flexible UI, pragmatic development, and accessible, user-friendly UI. The current stack is built with Python, C++, and TypeScript, and it is a big plus if you are comfortable working with those technologies.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:

• development of Grazper’s frontend.
• influence the choice of UI / UX technologies.
• determine options for product deployment strategies.
• design the frontend for Grazper’s AI applications.
• establish the visual and interactive 'look-and-feel' of their interfaces.
• work closely with the rest of the development team to create a coherent user experience for Grazper products.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate is expected to have a BA or MA level in Computer science, Software engineering, Web development or another relevant field, but experience from a similar role is more important.

Furthermore, Grazper prefers candidates who have:

• worked with one or more industry standard frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, Svelte or similar.
• familiarity with modern methods for reactive and adaptive front-end development.
• worked with one or more standard frameworks for styling and UI like Material, Tailwind, Bootstrap or similar.
• experience building modern frontend pipelines for CI / CD and automated testing.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The founders of Grazper have impressive track records and several successful commercial products behind them. Among other things, they co-created the original BAFTA-nominated Hitman game series and were members of the core development team of the Emmy-winning Havok physics engine. After a few years redefining how to deal with virtual worlds, plus a few machine learning escapades, they decided to move on to handling the real world – using AI.

They are a team of experts within Deep Learning, Computer Vision and 3D real-time graphics as well as experienced hardware and software implementation engineers. They all have the shared vision, to use AI to understand and model our world in a way that makes information understandable and accessible.

Grazper is owned by the Japanese company Yokogawa and their office is located centrally in Copenhagen. The office rooms around 10 dedicated employees.
