JOB DESCRIPTION
Grazper is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team of highly talented engineers and developers, located in the heart of Copenhagen. This is a unique opportunity to join a one-of-a-kind machine learning organization, where you will help build Grazper’s unique AI platform.

Grazper’s AI solution is a camera-based AI that can accurately track people’s behaviors in large physical environments. They are creating cutting-edge technologies that precisely track human behavior in expansive physical environments, redefining the possibilities of AI applications. Their main office is located just next to The Marble Church in central Copenhagen and their innovative development lab is located at Refshaleøen. Grazper is part of the Yokogawa family and operates under the umbrella of a Japanese company that holds a great position in the Nikkei Stock index. This ownership structure gives Grazper opportunities to work deeply with product development and innovation.

As a Senior Software Developer at Grazper, you will help evolve their technology stack to deliver shippable products based on human pose estimation and behavior analysis. Potential applications range from healthcare to security, from gaming to sports analysis. You will help build Grazper’s product range, development pipeline and platform engineering readiness. You will not only have technical responsibilities, but also play a crucial role in shaping their overall product strategy. The current stack is built with Python, C++, JS / TS and related technologies, but you will have considerable freedom to shape and influence the direction of their future tech portfolio.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:

• create a high performing real-time software platform that is maintainable, secure, and scalable.
• work closely with AI and frontend developers to make sure software quality is prioritized and a ‘product mindset’ is cultivated.
• influence the direction of future technology portfolios.
• software architecture and development using relevant technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate is expected to have a BSc or MSc in Computer science, Software engineering or another relevant field, but experience from a similar role is more important.

Furthermore, Grazper prefers candidates who have:

• experience from organizations of different sizes.
• worked with mixed code bases and technology stacks.
• skills in Python and familiarity with C++.
• attention to detail, but also awareness of the big picture.
• experience in or familiarity with DevOps and platform engineering (and a willingness to learn)

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The founders of Grazper have impressive track records and several successful commercial products behind them. Among other things, they co-created the original BAFTA-nominated Hitman game series and were members of the core development team of the Emmy-winning Havok physics engine. After a few years redefining how to deal with virtual worlds, plus a few machine learning escapades, they decided to move on to handling the real world – using AI.

They are a team of experts within Deep Learning, Computer Vision and 3D real-time graphics as well as experienced hardware and software implementation engineers. They all have the shared vision, to use AI to understand and model our world in a way that makes information understandable and accessible.

Grazper is owned by the Japanese company Yokogawa and their office is located centrally in Copenhagen. The office rooms around 10 dedicated employees.
