The Role

We are now hiring for a seasoned Senior Product Designer for our Experience Design Team. Can you plan, facilitate and design complete product experiences for companies of all sizes? And would you like to develop your Product Design capabilities as well as build a new business area in an ambitious consulting house? Then you may be the Senior Product Designer we are looking for.

What you’ll do everyday as a Senior Product Designer:

You’ll lead design for product. This includes driving the future vision of the product/project, making sure it compliments a cohesive overall business experience, and delivering on incremental steps to help the team head in this direction.

You’ll be hands-on designing UX and UI. You’ll be responsible for all design artefacts produced; from initial discovery and user journey mapping through to the execution of final UI design details.

You’ll deeply understand the customers you’re designing for. Whether it’s joining user research sessions, reading data reports or running your own lightweight research and analysis, you’ll strive to understand the what, why and how of the problems you’re solving

You’ll have customer responsibilities. We believe in long-term relations not short-term projects. This means you’ll be part of product teams with a focus on the continuous development of existing customer solutions.

You’ll collaborate regularly using strong communication and facilitation skills. You’ll work closely with PMs and Tech Leads to make sure your team isn’t just shipping great designs, but they are deeply involved throughout the design process.

You’ll help raise the bar for design at Kraftvaerk. We’re a small but mighty team where every designer plays a critical role in improving our community of practice and you are motivated by playing a central role when it comes to building a new business area and department

This isn’t for you if

• You need top-down directions. We operate autonomously so you’ll be expected to determine the highest impact areas to work on, collaborating with your product team and manager to ensure there’s alignment here. The team is always there for support but we are looking for you to lead with confidence.

Requirements

• High level of experience with the following tools; Figma and Adobe Suite.
• Familiar with agile methods and terminology, and/or general software dev environments
• A strong passion for mobile and web UI/UX and always staying up to date with the latest trends
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and working in a fast-paced environment
• You are 100% confident in speaking and writing in Danish and English, plus are a skilled communicator - whether it is with customers, users or developers.
• Available to work in Denmark – preferably at our office in Aarhus

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in product design or other related roles
• Experience in consulting or with an agency is a plus
