Design Development Specialist - Interim City: Copenhagen V Country/Region: DK Application Deadline: 31. Responsibilities include:
Collection development & tracking:

  • Support manager during collection development.
  • Track design sketch launch & delivery plans to ensure the development is on track.
  • Monitor SLA (Service Level Agreement) number count of design creations, in tracking system and align with Product Development Team located in Thailand.
  • Updating cross functional collection line plans with design ID and images.
  • Uploading design briefs & updating status in Product Lifecycle System.
  • Facilitating check-ins with Legal team on IP .
  • Communicating process control comments from manager to production.

Sample approvals:

  • Reviewing all pre-production samples & providing feedback to our Thai Product Development teams.
  • Review sample edits and communicate information to relevant stakeholders.

Product packshots:

  • Representing Design Development for product sample handover meetings which include handover photo shoot samples and info with Marketing department to ensure product accuracy.
  • Ensuring the correct samples are used.
  • Ensuring the photos are displaying the correct color, tone, temp etc that truly represent the physical samples.

Reports/meetings:

  • Weekly capacity check in meetings with the Thai Product Development team.
  • Weekly technical meetings with Design Development Managers & Product Development team.
  • Marketing sample handover meetings.
  • Legal meetings with Design and Legal departments
  • Packshot checks at external Photo Studio
  • Weekly Design Development team meetings
  • SLA (Service Level Agreement) number count -status sent out
  • Design Cost updates in line plan

Hard skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in jewellery and / or consumer goods industry within development, innovation, or project management offices.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good business level of English language in both speaking and writing.
  • Experience working with PLM system is a plus .

Human skills::

  • Humble, open-minded with problem solving ability and able to be a good listener.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to manage fast change in a global organization.
  • Highly structured, high attention to detail, and with the ability to quickly consolidate information.
  • Performs well under pressure in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to be agile in task management and could prioritize the task at hand.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good planning ability and good situation awareness.

Your new team
You will join an international team of 16 people, reporting to our Director of Design Development. Design Development team is based in our Global HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark. The department is situated in the Global Product Organization, responsible of all the beautiful products that Pandora has created. Our Design Development bridge the Design team and our supply chain – bringing the Designer’s vision and aesthetic to life while having a clear understanding of our technical manufacturing processes. The team is comprised of two core areas: New Product Development & Innovation.
