How you will make an impact

As a Commercial Product Manager, you will become a part of our European sales organization, joining at a fun and exciting time in our strategic journey where digitalization and data plays a pivotal role in achieving our innovation, sustainability and growth ambitions.

In this role you work closely with our markets in Europe, central and external stakeholders and be responsible for commercial product data, securing data quality from our source systems to our customers and branded websites, supporting or driving improvement projects centrally and in our markets. You can look forward to the following responsibilities:

• Governing GS1 standards in Arla Foods Commercial Eurozone, setting the direction for the markets, projects, initiating, and supporting GS1 standard improvements across Arla Foods.

• Further develop and implement the strategy for commercial product data, improving our commercial product data quality, from the source systems to the customers and own websites

• Build and support the execution on improvement plans for each individual market in Europe, working closely together with your team and the local stakeholders to ensure business continuity while improving the structure, capabilities and data quality.

• Implement Global Definition & Standards to local markets, driving Local GS1 groups within the Europe markets and oversee a cross marked GS1 and PIM group for Commercial Europe.

• Drive New Business Initiative on the Commercial Product Data area – related to PIM, e.g. new GS1 standard possibilities, new PIM Product Data initiated from Commercial.

• Support the eCommerce vision by providing reliable data and digital assets on our online platform, enabling effective work methods in our markets, and guaranteeing quality across product data and assets.

What will make you successful
You are an experienced profile in the product data space, have a solid commercial business understanding and knowledgeable about data standards and the value they can bring,. You are a passionate change advocate that can identify opportunities and deliver solutions with your stakeholders.

We assume you have:

• A bachelor's degree or similar in Sales, Marketing, Information Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of product information management principles, best practices and PIM systems.
• Strong knowledge about the GS1 standard and other data standards.
• A commercial background, experience from FMCG or is preferred.
• Ability to drive conversations about the GS1 standard and commercial product data at all levels in the organisation.
• Great people management skills, you will manage a cross marked team across time zones and cultures.
• Experience of working effectively in a matrix organisation with diverse stakeholders, being an excellent change agent.
• Experience with data governance/ management, understanding the up and downstream data influence on data quality and related data management
