Solution Architect

Join us in this role where you’ll ensure that the architecture of ServiceNow and tooling supports effective architecture practices and general architectural artefacts in alignment with our strategy and vision. You’ll also ensure that the priorities are in line with our key stakeholders’ vision to utilise the value creation of the ServiceNow.

Welcome to Architecture & Technology
You’ll be part of our Application Customization & Operations delivery organisation architectural group where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of the overall Architecture and Technology community that consists of more than 100 architects across all agile delivery organisations who will be working alongside the business. We oversee the largest application and technology portfolio, which covers deliveries to, e.g., our power producing assets like offshore and onshore windfarms, bio plants, and solar. As a team, we’re involved in building a sustainable green energy company, with diverse culture around the globe whilst ensuring great cohesion and collaboration to build a successful Architecture community.

You’ll play an important role in:

• establishing and overseeing the architectural discipline for the ServiceNow platform aligned with the IT for IT tool ecosystem
• creating and maintaining the architectural runway and roadmaps for the ServiceNow platform in collaboration with the Solution Manager
• defining and enforcing the strategic use of the ServiceNow platform, incl. ITOM Discovery and compliance with NIS2
• driving and ensuring implementation of and efficient utilisation of ServiceNow’s Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0)
• acting as a servant leader and mentor for application architects and developers, providing support and coaching and serving as escalation point
• ensuring technical integrity and fitness for purpose of solution components.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have solid architectural skills specific to the ServiceNow platform
• demonstrate strong expertise in design patterns, software architecture, and understanding of architecture patterns and integrations
• have a broad understanding of current and emerging technologies to enable us to move existing processes to the ServiceNow platform
• have effective communication skills for conveying architectural designs and decisions to team members, business stakeholders, and IT stakeholders
• have the ability to clearly articulate the intended architecture to the development team, Product Owner, and Solution Manager
• are proficient in ITSM and ITOM within the ServiceNow platform, and have a good grasp of Integration Principles.
