Healthcare Access Specialist

Then you might be our new Healthcare Access Specialist.

We are looking for a Healthcare Access Specialist to help enable Danish patients access to Pfizer’s breakthrough products. In addition, our new Healthcare Access Specialist will play an important role in strengthening Pfizer’s regional network and collaboration with relevant regional stakeholders and decision makers.

The key responsibilities of the Healthcare Access Specialist include:

• Establish relationships with key regional political and budgetary stakeholders as well as other decision makers to understand payers’ needs​ and coordinate with Pfizer’s business objectives.
• Becoming the organizations “eyes & ears” responsible for collecting relevant intelligence both from direct engagement with stakeholders but also via desktop work with the aim to support our strategic prioritization.
• Develop the regional Public-Private Partnership collaboration with the purpose of building trust and secure cost-effective innovative funding solutions and data generating initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional team and drive the execution of key activities with the goal to increase patient access to treatment at national/regional level.
• Provide insight on patient journeys and uptake, access conditions, key stakeholders and payer insights and publicly available meeting minutes.

About you
Ideally, you come from a position in the public healthcare sector and have a medical / economic background. We believe an ideal candidate furthermore has the following skills and experiences:

• A learning mindset, deep knowledge & passionate interest in the evolving Danish healthcare system & landscape as well as a passionate drive to make a difference for healthcare & patients
• Deep insight into the Danish health care landscape with demonstrated ability to analyze pathways to secure patient access
• Expertise in mapping patient universes and pathways to evaluate market potential and budget impact considerations
• Strategic & analytical skills enabling prioritization and focus on key deliverables
• Proven strong networking skills – internal & external
• Project management skills
• Self-starter with an innovative growth & agile mindset
• Good at navigating the organization both vertical and horizontal
• Several years of relevant work experience from a region, a hospital, a pharmaceutical company or other relevant organization.
• University Degree at master’s level. PhD is an advantage.
• Language Requirements: Fluent in Danish and English.
