Senior Backend Engineer

As our new Senior Backend Engineer, you will be working in a product team of highly skilled and dedicated people to deliver solutions and services to our enterprise customers. With the rest of the engineering team, you will set the direction for our architecture and the way we build, run, and deploy our services and APIs.

You will be responsible for complex tasks which you will solve together with the team by breaking them down and proactively addressing issues that will arise as part of this. We will look to you to suggest solutions and future improvements to both our code base and the product you support.

In this role, you will

• Design and plan architecture to build stable and scalable software.

• Develop high-level system design and low-level technical design.

• Contribute to product discovery in the team to identify feasible, high-impact solutions to the team objectives.

• Develop backend application code for our platform and products.

• Work with DevOps team members to ensure continued stability and performance.

• Initiate and develop creative and innovative engineering processes and practices.

• Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push capabilities forward.

• Documenting processes and practices you establish.

• Ensure the maintenance of our product.

Requirements

• JavaScript and database experience. Node.js experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the full stack of technologies used in a web application.
• Good understanding of DevOps, QA, and test automation.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestration.
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic, GitLab, and a range of AWS services.
• You
