Join our International Department in delivering meaningful consultancy services all around the world.
We are looking for full-time intern with a general interest in the fields of infrastructure and sustainable development.
In Sweco’s International Department, we manage complex infrastructure projects funded by development banks, multi/bilateral agencies, local governments, and private organisations all over the globe. As our intern, you will work with and learn from a multi-disciplinary team of international colleagues who share a passion for creating sustainable solutions for our clients.
The internship will require full-time engagement (37 hours / week) with a duration of approximately 6 months (from mid-August 2024 to January 31, 2025).
On a typical week we expect your tasks to include:
- Assisting in the management and implementation of international projects in the fields of water, wastewater, roads, environment, climate change, energy, and sustainable development.
- Supporting Senior Consultants in the preparation of reports through data collection, analyses, research, and reporting.
- Supporting in business development tasks including market analysis, proposal preparation and strategy development.
- Assisting in general ad hoc tasks.
For us, the ideal candidate:
- Is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Denmark in any of the following fields: Business Studies, Social Sciences, Global Studies, Development Studies, Sustainable Cities, Environmental Science, Climate Economics, Geography, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Has a solid academic record.
- Has a structured and proactive mindset that can adapt well to dynamic environments and tight deadlines.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Is highly proficient in the English language (C2 level – spoken and written).
- Is skilled in Microsoft Office.
- General work experience is an asset.
- Skills in AutoCAD, GIS and/or InDesign are an asset.
