A team that delivers efficient and resilient developer services
At Systematic, you'll be an integral part of our internal IT department (ITM), which spearheads IT projects, develops and maintains software development applications and business applications, manages IT Infrastructure, and provides comprehensive IT support to our workforce. You will join a team of six colleagues dedicated to delivering efficient and resilient developer services, continuously improving the developer experience, and maintaining the company's security and compliance standards.

The important link between Software developers and development platforms
As a Senior IT Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to fortify our development platforms and services by closely collaborating with business stakeholders to understand development needs and optimize the developer experience through platform engineering while ensuring security, scalability, and resiliency in the solutions.

This means that your everyday tasks will cover:

• Maintaining existing tools, facilitating new developments, and implementing relevant changes.
• Addressing developer experience challenges and aligning improvement requirements with business stakeholders.
• Playing a pivotal role in our organization-wide transition to Cloud technologies.
• Present complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.
• Exploring opportunities for leveraging existing and new technologies to enhance development service efficiency and delivery.
• Contributing to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Run pilot projects with business teams and participate in hands-on PoCs.

An Experienced Specialist with a background in international work spheres
We are looking for a colleague with a background in platform engineering, as an IT specialist, or a similar position, ideally with three to five years of experience working with development tools.

In terms of technologies, you can expect to work with a focused number of languages. You know, the more is not always the merrier. Therefore, we focus on Powershell for Windows systems, Bash and Python for Linux systems, and our infrastructure, which uses Terraform, Ansible, and Helm. We therefore expect that you have good experience with some of these. Furthermore, we use development tools such as Jira, TeamCity, Nexus, Blackduck, Bitbucket and Github Copilot. Kubernetes and Docker are also part of the toolbox for developers in Systematic.

Lastly, you must expect some travel, a maximum of 20 days a year, for national and international conferences, training, and office visits.
