We have two open positions as a Scientific Publication Manager or Senior Scientific PublicationsManager where you will lead the planning and execution of key scientific publications ensuring clinical trial transparency and communication in alignment with guidelines. About the positions
As our new Scientific Publication Manager, you will:

  • Develop publication strategies/develop and execute publication plans
  • Maintain budgets and timelines, and manage agency vendors to deliver to target
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders throughout the organisation, external healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders
  • Explore and enable the use of new digital extenders to increase dissemination and impact of scientific publications (i.e. infographics, podcasts, videos, use and reuse in new channels such as own scientific exchange platform and social media, as well as Multi Channel Engagement tactics).
  • Ensure adherence to ethical and transparency standards and guidelines as an ambassador for Good Publication Practice

In addition to the above, our new Senior Scientific Publications Manager will:

  • Demonstrate leadership by independently undertaking senior tasks and deliverables, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation
  • Work closely with the Scientific Publications leadership team to plan and provide training and guidance for the team and for internal stakeholders.
  • Act as an ambassador for all Novo Nordisk publication principles and continuously strive to optimise our procedures and processes.
  • Investigate new ways of conveying science and deep dive into metrics to analyse the outcomes thereof

For either position, success is contingent upon your ability to combine your knowledge and experience with outstanding interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
We expect you to have:

  • A relevant Master’s degree
  • Publications management/Scientific communications experience in pharma, publishing, medical communications or similar (1-4 years for Senior position)
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with successful outcomes (prioritisation)
  • Excels in interpersonal skills & Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Able and willing to adapt quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment
  • A forward-thinking and innovative attitude to help develop and improve processes
  • An interest in the ethics of scientific communication and good publication practise
  • To be a certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) is an asset (Senior position)

About the department
The Scientific Publications team is anchored in Global Medical Affairs (GMA) in the Development organisation of Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for publishing scientific research across all drug development phases. We are looking for publication professionals to join the Scientific Publications team 1 in the company headquarters in Søborg (Copenhagen), Denmark.
