Senior Operational Excellence Manager – Global Supply Chain Management

Do you see yourself project managing and leading global programs, developing and implementing global improvement initiatives in a complex supply chain? We’re looking for you if you bring experience with process improvement, process excellence and strong change & project management skills. You will be driving change across the supply chain in close collaboration with decision makers that can promote and mandate the changes needed.

Your challenges

As Senior Operational Excellence Manager, you will be part of the Operational Excellence Team in Supply. You will drive change with a diverse range of stakeholders ranging from the COO to stakeholders on the shopfloor.

In this newly established position you will develop and lead an “End 2 End” value stream approach where your finest goal is to identify business potentials for the future. You are motivated by bringing your continuous improvement competencies into play in a cross organisational cooperation and thereby contribute to a continuous development of the VELUX supply chain.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Program manage large global improvement initiatives
  • Develop and lead an “End to End” approach to create transparency of business potentials
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential improvements by focusing on “End to End” processes in Supply.
  • Build and implement governance structure for “End to End”
• Participate in cross functional initiatives in Supply
• Execute trainings within VELUX Operating System e.g. Lean tools training

Your qualifications

It is important and required that you:

• Bring experience in senior roles focused on projects/programm es supporting and anchoring process improvement or operational excellence initiatives working cross functionally across the supply chain, preferably in a global setting.
• Bring +7 years of experience from different levels/functions in a Supply Chain environment
• Have a holistic Business understanding
• Bring experience as a Lean expert and practitioner
• Have strong change management and stakeholder capabilities
• Is a natural relationship builder with an ability to manage ambiguity
• You are fluent in written and verbal English.

We imagine that you have an advanced degree on Bachelor’s or Master’s level within Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or related fields.

As a person, you are structured and process oriented. You are curious by nature and with your can-do approach, you are a person, who drives projects/agendas forward while maintaining a great working relationship to your peers and stakeholders throughout the organization. Furthermore, you dare to speak your mind and bring forth your input and ideas in larger forums, e.g. project groups. You have an accommodating, open and forthcoming personality, and you enjoy and excel in collaborating with a wide variety of people.

In this role, you should expect travel days in the range of 40-60 per year.
