We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who is energized by building software that makes an impact: for developers, for users and ultimately for the patients of Novo Nordisk.

What’s the role about?
As a Senior Frontend Developer you will have a strong impact in developing, testing, and maintaining products built using modern SPA frameworks such as VueJS. You will join the Sciworm team which are responsible for the development and DevOps of the application. The application consists of an front end built on VueJS and a C# backend hosted in Azure.

In addition, your responsibilities are to:

• Develop, test, and maintain our app built in TypeScript using VueJS.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and functionalities r
• Optimize and improve the performance of existing systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team

The product team consists of a PO, a Scrum Master, a Tech Lead and a team of developers spanning the range of technologies. We are live at two Novo Nordisk research areas. We are looking for you as we are scaling the software to more areas and expand on features and services.

You will join the Digital Accelerator (DA), a unit in Digital Data & IT acting as a trusted advisor and partner on greenfield software development ventures helping business areas realise digital. Novo Nordisk continues to invest in digital products to enable the business to reach its strategic objectives. We, in the Digital Accelerator, are partnering with the business to bring digital innovation ideas to life and mature our ways of working within digital products.

We are four dedicated DA teams responsible for designing, developing, and operating digital products in collaboration with the business i.e., Research & Early Development, Development, Product Supply, and Commercial. What we scout for
As an ideal candidate we expect you have:

• MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field
• At least 5 years of experience in developing solutions using TypeScript or JavaScript
• Strong experience in Azure cloud computing platform and services
• Experience with Vue.js and other modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns as well as problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in Agile development methodology, test-driven development and continuous integration
