We are growing our locations globally and are investing significantly into establishing a new manufacturing capacity for biopharmaceuticals both in United Kingdom, the United States as well as expanding our manufacturing site in Denmark to accelerate the growth of our Bio CDMO (Contract and Development Manufacturing Organization) business.

Our new sites will offer a network of end-to-end solutionsto our customers looking to manufacture biopharmaceuticals in the US and in Europe. In addition to drug substance manufacture, our sites will also provide automated fill-finish and assembly, packaging, and labeling services.

About This Role
The new Strategic Project Lead will report to our VP of Strategy & Executive Office and be responsible for project management of key strategic initiatives to ensure facilitation and execution across our Global company as well as support of the strategic alignment to operations.

As our Strategic Project Lead you will lead several key cross-functional strategic projects. They may vary in content and subject matter, but your ability to facilitate the right people to be involved, drive execution forward and ensure progress while keeping accountability with the sites is key for us to succeed with growing our business unit.

What You’ll Do

  • You will be the project manager of several cross-functional projects, ensuring progress, involvement and facilitation globally
  • You will collaborate across teams and functions ensuring sense of ownership and followership in every step of the process.
  • You will be responsible for driving and co-driving complex projects across functions, including the daily management of respective project teams.
  • You will manage projects towards successful implementation of business priorities and act as a sparring partner and a trusted advisor to our project owners on both content and recommendations.
  • Responsibilities include strategy development and execution, organizational development, data analysis, process optimization and executive decision support among others.
  • You will build a strong international network and further develop your leadership skills, as well as your personal and technical skills
  • We expect you to take an active role in the establishment of the new unit and continuous development of the department regardless of your role and tenure.
  • You will support with reports, materials and content for leadership meetings as needed (including, but not limited to: StC presentations, ELT presentations, facilitation of workshops, conference materials, communication materials etc.).
  • We expect you to work from our Hillerød office in Denmark but with the possibility to work hybrid. Additionally, this role involves occasional travelling days.

You are a natural people-person with the ability to build strong relationships ensuring followership and involvement from all employees in the process. You have a project management mind-set and find it easy to break complex problems into simple and executable plans and steps. You are a strong communicator, able to explain even the most complex process and project easily to all stakeholders. You work at a high pace, able to shift and adapt quickly, and thrive in an environment of change and complexity.

Basic Requirements Strategy Project Lead

  • Masters degree
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects
  • Expert in PPT and in Excel
  • Being flexible to working in a global environment which will, at times, require meetings outside normal working hours.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience from Management Consulting is a plus
  • Experience in project management within the biotech pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with strategy development and implementation projects
  • Ability to report results to senior management and/or customer in professional manor
  • PMP or IPMA certificate
  • Change management certificate (e.g. ADKAR or similar) is a plus
