Demant is making innovative hearing aids and is a key driver behind improving life quality of thousands of end-users around the world.

This is the perfect responsibility for you, who can think across and bridge the different underlying business applications and through all the interactions the customers have with the system; from ordering the products, to fitting the aids, to seeking product information and patients’ data, etc.

As Product Director you set the strategy:

• You have the finger on the pulse within market challenges, trends, opportunities, and competitors.
• You identify and meet the key business needs and requests from our hearing care professionals and business covering all types of clinics incl. hearing care professionals.
• You ensure the organization has the necessary knowledge about the area strategy and the “why” for everything you request.
• You set the strategy and strategic themes and prepare the business cases based on your research. Specifically, you will take ownership of creating and updating an area strategy within your area to meet the overall goals of the organization.

In your daily life you interact with different stakeholders. Both externally with markets and customers to understand the key problems to solve and internally you work closely with R&D and IT towards the best solutions.

We have market activities from the US to Asia. You can therefore expect up to 20 exciting travel days per year.

How to make it happen
In Demant we use SAFe® as a framework. As Product Director you will also act as Epic Owner across the digital customer journey taking the lead on relevant business epics. On top of this you will also take a part time role as Business Owner to guide one of the relevant ARTs to optimal business outcomes through prioritization of the ART backlog.

This means you:

• Define and drive the solution portfolio incl. working with a roadmap of epics delivering to the value proposition.
• Are part of prioritizing relevant ART backlog according to the market understanding and overall portfolio strategy and roadmap.
• Safeguard seamless solutions that are easy and intuitive for the customers to use.

Part of a professional team

You can look forward to becoming part of a team consisting of 10 Product Directors and Senior Product Managers.

Thenearest colleaguesare the Product Director and Senior Product Manager responsible for fitting software and IT integration and flow towards our hearing aids, assistive listening devices, as well as integrations to our diagnostics solutions. The three of you are the ones ensuring the customer’s total experience of our relevant business systems.

You will work closely with two other teams in our department comprising in-market experts, SAFe VMO, customer and user experience champions.

You refer to David Grønholm, Senior Director, Solution Planning. His leadership style is open, delegating, transparent and informative. Add to that he is also a people person.

The job is in Smørum, close to Copenhagen. You have the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

Passion for technology, marketing, and software solutions
We expect you to come from a similar position with +3 years of working with e.g. medical devices, user-based development and design, hearing solutions or alike.

You have a consequently commercial mindset always considering existing and new business models, value chain and how to achieve more benefit for the customers.

You are well versed in an agile setup. If you don’t have the necessary certification, we will ensure to give it to you.

You are known to be the one, who takes the lead. Strong stakeholder management and project management skills are the definition of you. You prioritize in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
