Responsibilities
Lead and develop Verdane’s In-house accounting team that is based in Sweden, Norway and Germany and work closely with the rest of the finance team in Verdane.

Responsibilities for the Group accounting manager also include:

  • Lead and develop the in-house accounting team across Sweden, Norway, and Germany.
  • Oversee and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and systems.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to external providers in countries where we operate.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on ad-hoc projects and group reporting.
  • Drive improvement projects and document processes and routines.
  • Support the rest of Verdane team with accounting expertise.

Professional Qualifications

  • Master’s / MBA degree graduate
  • 6-8+ year experience in the financial sector such as: Accounting, Audit or similar.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record in team development.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish, additional languages are a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and interested in systems, AI and technology. Our current ERP-system is Xledger.
  • Strong project management skills: self-starter, organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong competence in accounting and related areas.
  • Good communicator: ability to work and build relationships with a large team.
