We are looking for a Senior Manager who will be driving the Commercial Planning agenda, enabling us to reach as many kids and fans of LEGO® as possible around the world!

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process in collaboration with team across global & regional commercial development, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Optimize the process to drive efficiency and simplification while introducing more predictive & automated planning.
  • Drive the development and launch of a Digital Planning tool for Market Group, Business Unit, and Key Account Planning in collaboration with the Digital Product Team.
  • Consolidate regional numbers, run analytics to test numbers for soft spots and gaps. Prepare crisp executive materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Support Market Groups in defining their commercial plans. Drive the ICP Alignment Process with Regional Leadership Teams, Marketing, and Finance as well as the ICP Approval with the CCO LT and Executive LT.
  • Run the annual Ambition Setting Process in collaboration with Finance, securing the link between our 3 year corporate strategy into our annual plans in collaboration with the Channel & Sales Management Team.

Play your part in our team succeeding
The Commercial Planning Management department is anchored in our Global Commercial Development function. We are working closely with global stakeholders across marketing, product development, and finance to set the global annual plans. We then cascade these plans in our regional, local markets, and with key accounts as well as with our D2C LEGO Retail business. We further monitor commercial performance vs plans, coordinate corrective actions, and activate response options. We are acting as the connecting element between multiple subject matter expertise teams including performance marketing, revenue management, pricing, portfolio deployment, and channel & sales management. We further test our customer satisfaction levels with regular customer pulse surveys and run the commercial integration forum to secure alignment across our commercial development functions across all regions.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of education, and a strong track record in commercial, financial, or planning roles from a complex global matrix organization, together with solid expertise in setting up sales processes and governance practices.

Experience from a commercial development function and from the Consumer Packaged Group industry, are desirable.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to demonstrate:

  • Strong commercial competence, and ability to build and interpret financial frameworks, models and scenarios to guide commercial investment decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to operate with both internal and external collaborators across functions, including experience of driving complex/challenging projects
  • Strategically strong with a pragmatic approach to wider business challenges and ability to thrive when faced with ambiguity
  • Mature analytical skills with a track record of turning insights into action plans and develop crisp communication materials for senior stakeholders
  • A passion for newness, creativity and change management when proposing and implementing innovative ways to grow
