Do you possess a well-rounded data visualization toolbox and a deep understanding of data analytics, ready to drive our business towards excellence?

Play a role in enchanting the builders of tomorrow within our External Mould Factory (EMF)!

Core Responsibilities

  • Extract the relevant master data from various systems and build digital performance boards using Power-BI or similar software across EMF, to craft a decision-making platform, based on the right data.
  • Primary Support with daily BI-setup/IT trouble shooting in EMF, ensuring a high data quality level as well as updated digital performance dashboards.
  • Drive the performance metrics target setting process in EMF, through analyzing historical data as well as end to end understanding and strategic direction/ambitions.
  • Ensure a good critical metric alignment and collaboration towards Internal partners.
  • Analysis of data, using available software with the intention to improve processes across EMF and its closest collaborators, followed by clear recommendations/trade-off descriptions.
  • Act as a product owner, where incoming requests are being evaluated and prioritized based on detailed understanding of customer needs, issues, and priorities. Your insight to your partners is detailed, which make it easy for you to spot issues and priorities in daily work.
  • Apply and explore the possibilities of digitalization to optimize, automate, and fail proof administration processes within EMF. The purpose is to keep the department on the forefront of the LEGO Group’s digitalization ambitions, within the framework of Corporate IT provided systems.
  • Project assistance on data/IT related projects prioritized in the strategic goals across EMF.

External Mould Factory is an area in the wider Mould Supply and Technology organization and is currently delivering 250+ mould designs as well as 700+ moulds to our global moulding production sites every year.

The role is placed in the internal staff function called Business Enabling. The Senior Data Analytics Engineer will be a key player in our digitalization agenda.

Do you have what it takes
To be successful in this position we imagine a person with strong data visualization and analytics toolbox combined with the dedication to influence leadership decisions trough translating data sets in a storyline accessible for non-technical professionals. A detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, collaboration and capability-building skills being able to establish positive relationships with partners and colleagues at all levels. In addition, you bring:

  • Experience as senior analyst business experience (preferably from a Supply Chain role in a large production company).
  • Extensive experience within visualizing business performance in a digital context, using tools like Power-BI or similar.
  • Statistical knowledge - experience working with Python and/or R would be beneficial.
  • Background in a project driven setup (e.g. Agile, Scrum, etc.).
