Senior Funding Specialist for the Green Transition

Are you keen on writing, developing, and refining texts in English and facilitating innovative projects within the green transition? Then this job is for you!

1st Mile assists clients in finding financing for innovative technology projects, primarily within the green transition.

You will be part of an international team of eight dedicated colleagues, all specialists in technology or business development. Together with this team, you will write, review and refine the project applications before submission.

Working with project applications often occurs in waves, with both high and low seasons in the job. Leading up to deadlines, you will typically work on three to seven projects simultaneously and be very busy. However, during the low season there will be opportunities to take time off, optimize 1st Mile's processes and methods and compensate for overtime. Also, you can work from home when it fits into the work processes.

You come from a position where you have produced, refined, and reviewed extensive texts in English. Experience in writing applications for support programs is an advantage but not a requirement.

Experience in green energy or energy infrastructure is an advantage but not a requirement.

It is a requirement that your English in writing is at (almost) native level. Communication in the office and in dialogue with customers and partners is in English.

You work independently, structured, and detail-oriented with a focus on meeting tight deadlines. You keep track of several parallel and complex project applications while you support your colleagues in completing applications – even when you work under pressure.
