Aligned with the GREEN'26 Cement strategy, FLSmidth is set to have a dedicated Cement business entity, equipped to inject green-tech initiatives into the dynamic global cement market. This Cement business will feature its own dedicated Cement IT function, which is currently in the process of being developed.

About the job
FLSmidth is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Cement IT, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders in our Cement business and IT to build a future-proof operating model. You will democratize our decision making by facilitating a minimum viable architecture, and you will build stories to visualize and plan our architectural and operational future.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align IT roadmap with overall business goals.
• Develop and maintain an enterprise Architectural roadmap that outlines the evolution of technology systems and application over time (from current to the To-be scenario)
• Ensure that IT solutions support and enhance the organizations strategic objectives.
• Analyse emerging technology trends and disruptions and access their impact on the targeted business outcome.
• Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead the design of the complex technology solutions that meet business requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend technology options, considering factors such as cost, scalability, and security.
• Adapt to changing business and operating models.
• Drive the evolution of the EA services, operating model, and the organisation’s digital business strategies.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years proven business experience in strategic and operations planning, business analysis or enterprise architecture consultancy.
• Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks.
• Proven expertise in managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
• Collaborative in supporting business ideas and comfortable in being assertive of architectural principles, governance, and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultures, understanding nuances in communication styles, and adjusting your approach to accommodate diverse perspectives.
• Vendor- and technology-neutral.
