Procurement Student Assistant - HAARSLEV

The job
As an Procurement Student Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Procurement and Supply Chain, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting. You will be a part of our Procurement team based in Haarslev on Funen.

Task and Responsibilities:
Your primary task will be to support our Global Procurement function with various tasks, to ensuring procurement in a Category Management Procurement perspective. As such, you will assist with:

• Development of processes and tools
• Digitalization projects
• Involvement/drive Sourcing Excellence projects globally
• Data analysis
• Support Category Managers with various task towards suppliers
• Ad-hoc tasks

Is this you?
We imagine that you have a keen interest in Procurement, Category Management, Supply Chain and Business Intelligence. With your curious nature you are ready to put your knowledge to use and can work independently with your tasks. To thrive in this role, you should:

• Be currently pursuing a BSc. or MSc in Business Economics or a degree in production engineering, business administration or similar with at least 12 months remaining in your studies.
• have analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data.
• have experience working with Microsoft Office.
• possess IT skills and strong curiosity within IT.
• have strong communication skills in English both orally and written.

Join our Procurement Excellence Team
You will be part of our Global Procurement Team and you will get colleagues who are based in Denmark, United States, Spain, China, Germany and Brazil. Together, we are responsible for the commercial work with suppliers on a operational, tactical and strategic level. This includes supplier relationship management, commercial and prices negotiations, cost out, risk mitigation and contract management.
