Work tasks

  • Programming Automated Production Lines: Your expertise will be pivotal in programming and fine-tuning the functionality of automated production lines, ensuring seamless operation and optimal output.
  • Control of Variable Frequency Drives/Motors, Electrical and Pneumatic Actuators, Hydraulic Systems, etc.: You'll be tasked with overseeing and controlling a myriad of components, including variable frequency drives, motors, actuators, and hydraulic systems, to ensure precise and synchronized operation.
  • Regulation Using Encoders, Photo Cells, Pressure/Temperature Gauges, etc.: Your role involves implementing and regulating various sensors and measuring devices such as encoders, photocells, and pressure/temperature gauges to maintain accuracy and consistency in production processes.
  • Close Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaboration is key as you work closely with teams in mechanical construction, electrical design and assembly, mechanical assembly, and commissioning of installations. This collaboration ensures seamless integration and operation of production systems.
  • Reporting Structure: Within the PLC department, you'll report to the team leader, closely linked with electrical design and assembly. On individual projects, you'll either report to a project automation team leader or directly to the project manager, depending on the scale and complexity of the project

We are looking for

  • While your educational background is not decisive, we expect you to have a professional education, possibly supplemented with training as an automation technologist, mechanical engineer, installer, or similar.
  • It is a must with advanced knowledge of PLC programming, especially in Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Since we export worldwide, you must have good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • It is a plus if you gained experience in a company producing machines/discrete manufacturing
