You’ll play an important role in:
- Developing cutting edge simulation tools for fission and fusion reactors.
- Developing methods for particle tracking and physics in a wide range of geometries.
- Expanding the dynamic capabilities of simulation software into the realm of fluid fuel reactors.
- Speeding up simulation software enabling engineers worldwide to explore novel reactor concepts.
- Validating simulations against real world experiments and tests.
This position involves a variety of responsibilities and may not be limited to the above.
To succeed in the role, you:
- To know/learn how to parallelize computer programs.
- To analyse multidimensional data-sets.
- To be adventurous and inquisitive.
- To deep-dive into a large and diverse simulation code-base.
- To independently ask questions and come with ideas.

Based in Copenhagen, we are an international team of over 70 engineers, technicians, designers, and more who are in the process of developing a new, low-cost, abundant, sustainable, and safe nuclear technology to be manufactured on assembly lines in the future. As part of Copenhagen Atomics´ aspirations of continued growth, we have moved into new and larger facilities in Kastrup with 11.000 square meters of office and production space.
