As a Payroll Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, ensuring that our payroll operations run smoothly and align with both our company standards and Danish legislation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, from data input to final reporting,
You will supervisor a team of 4 employees and report directly to the Account Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • As a Payroll Supervisor you are responsible for managing all activities in the Payroll Departments for all brands and office in the H&M Group Denmark.
  • You manage the planning, execution, and precise processing of the monthly payroll, ensuring all changes such as new hires, terminations, and raises are updated accurately.
  • You manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll function, ensuring timely support and training as needed, and assist with system upgrades.
  • You contribute to the optimization of payroll processes and workflows for increased efficiency.
  • You participate in the development and implementation of operational improvements and new initiatives.
  • You maintain compliance with all relevant laws, payroll tax requirements, and internal policies.
  • You assist with the coordination of audits and manage payroll tax audit processes.

Qualifications

This role is for you who have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. We are looking for someone who is not just experienced but also passionate about payroll, someone who sees beyond numbers and understands the impact of accurate and timely payroll on our team’s morale and company’s success.
In addition to your personality, we see that:

  • You have experience from a current or former Payroll Management role
  • You are an experienced manager who can lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • You have extensive experience with the entire payroll process in SAP Salary system – from data input and validation to reporting, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • You have experience with pensions and health insurance.
  • You are an experienced user of Excel and the Office suite.
  • Experience with the HK retail agreement and the 3F Warehouse agreement is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • You speak and write fluent one of the Scandinavian languages and English.
