As the Finance Director Procurement you are responsible leading the Finance team supporting our Global and Regional Procurement Teams. Direct Procurement is a crucial function in our business connected to purchasing of materials, components and products that are used in our internal and external manufacturing processes. Indirect procurement plays a key role in the construction process, service contracts as well as all the other external commitments we have to run our business successfully. The team is organized around those different procurement disciplines and you will be a vital member of the Global Procurement Leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and empower the Global Procurement Finance Team
  • Play a crucial role as a key member of the Global Procurement Management team, serving as the Finance interface to cross functional stakeholders
  • Cultivate and propel a team of seasoned professionals who excel as Finance Business partners in their respective fields across the different procurement disciplines
  • Together with the team enable financial insights in current as well as an outlook to future performance of the area and communicate those insights to senior management to enable effective decision making processes
  • Co-pilot the transformation processes in Global Procurement with a focus on continuous performance tracking, establishing gap closure plans

Qualifications

  • Relevant education / degree most likely within Finance and/or Business domain
  • Leadership experience in leading high performing teams in a multinational corporation is advantageous
  • Experience in managing financial processes and supporting business functions with relevant insights to facilitate decision making processes.
  • Experience in presenting complex data to senior stakeholders and decision-makers across the company
  • Proficiency in English, written and verbal
