Proposal Manager for Surveillance and Mission Systems, Søborg, Denmark

The job
For our Surveillance and Mission Systems (SMS) area we are looking for an ambitious and competent Proposal Manager. The SMS business delivers complex radar solutions to ports, surveillance of coasts, airports, windfarms and navies, and Command and Control solutions and decoys to both the Danish Navy and navies and coast guards globally.

As Proposal Manager, you will be part of a team of 4 Proposal Managers, located in Søborg and Lystrup, managing all complex proposals in SMS. The working environment is dynamic and characterized by multiple parallel tasks and often short deadlines. Our proposal team works across all units in SMS including our offices in Singapore, US and Middle East) and closely with Service, Programs, Products, Technology, Legal and Supply departments. The team is really well functioning, with excellent relations across the company and an open and positive team culture.

In close collaboration with colleagues across Terma you will be responsible for delivering proposals from early engagement to submission to customer.

More specifically your responsibilities will cover:

• Manage and ensure delivery of complex proposals at time and in the right quality
• Ensure that the team and stakeholders involved in the proposal are delivering their input
• Ensure proposal stakeholders are continuously kept in the loop and are properly informed and involved as needed
• Assist sales lead in meetings and sometimes in negotiations with customer
• Optimize and improve proposal procedures and tools with the rest of the team

The position is based in Søborg.

As a proposal manager your qualifications should cover:

• You can work independently and with a high level of individual initiative and personal drive
• You have excellent stakeholder management skills
• You are structured and understand the necessity of coordination and follow-up
• You have a strong commercial understanding to help build best possible proposal for both Terma and customer
• You are a good teamplayer and value being a member of a high performance team
• Fluent in English (Orally/Written)

We are looking for a candidate with experience with a good technical and commercial understanding and it is preferred if you have experience from a similar job function.
