Welcome to Service Operations Continental Europe Competence Centre
You’ll be part of our in-house ServiceNow team where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for ensuring both the stable operations and continuous development of the platform to enable the full potential of ServiceNow. You’ll act as a developer, sparring partner and be in direct dialogue with end-users and architects. You’ll also design best practice solutions, create requirement specification, shape, and optimise our daily operations through ServiceNow, all of which you’ll do within an agile team. As a team, we are characterised by good cooperation and an environment based on mutual trust. All team members have a development plan, and we support our colleagues in developing further in the organisation.
You’ll play an important role in:
- ensuring day-to-day support, administration, operation, and development of the ServiceNow platform
- participating in designing automated workflows using REST API, Flow Designer and Automated Test Framework (ATF), in line with established standards, to improve both IT and business processes across on
- engaging in dialogue with the business to understand objectives, discussing technical possibilities, and solution design whilst ensuring requirements specification
- working with the product owner, scrum master, process specialists and other cross-functional stakeholders to guide and co-create development-tasks
- supporting our organisation in digitalising workflows and processes.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a proactive and systematic approach to your work, with strong problem investigation and resolution skills
- have experience with JavaScript, XML, and structural programming concepts, as well as Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML, and CSS
- have prior experience with ServiceNow development with focus on ITSM processes and have experience with troubleshooting request forms and workflows
- are a team player with a customer and results-oriented mindset and proactive attitude
- enjoy working in a fast-paced, global environment while leveraging IT Service management best practices and operating the ServiceNow platform as a shared service on behalf of the organisation
- are fluent in both written and oral English.
