Financial Controller

Your New Role
As the new financial controller, you will be an integral part of a dynamic finance team. Together with the controlling team you will play a key role in the high-quality reporting and delivering accurate and timely information to our stakeholders. You will control and analyze the reported numbers, optimize our reporting and accounting processes, take part in the month end closing and be part of the forecast and budget process.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Participate in Monthly, Quarterly and Annual closing process in cooperation with the rest of the Finance team, tasks mainly preparing numbers for reporting.
• Responsible for controlling fixed cost for several departments, and you will therefore be in close connection with department leaders. As their business partner on all financial topics, you will assist them in understanding the figures and ultimately how they can create further value across the organization.
• Along with the controlling team you will be responsible for the budget and revisit it throughout the year in collaboration with the department owners.
• Be a sparring partner and handling ad hoc tasks from the Manager of controlling.
• Being Superuser in our procurement and scanning system and participating in the ongoing development and test of our ERP-system

Skills & Knowledge we hope you possess

• BSc within Finance or Economics (or equivalent)
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience
• Strong accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP/DK GAAP/IFRS
• Deep knowledge of Excel and strong capability of expressing and visualizing financial information
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA is a plus

You will be a part of a Finance Department consisting of approximately 20 people. You will be surrounded by highly dedicated and skilled colleagues who all strive towards creating efficiency and quality. You will be part of the local team in Denmark and be reporting directly to the Manager of controlling and have a wide range of task within controlling and finance.
