We are looking for an EPC Project Manager to make an impact that matters.

Together with our strong community of project managers, you will be responsible for projects within Better Energy’s Construction portfolio. Our top priority is to deliver Better Energy’s construction projects on time and on budget.
You will be a part of the EPC management department that is a part of Better Energy EPC Business Unit. The department consists of 3 teams ie EPC portfolio management, EPC project management and Construction Project Management.
In addition to having a strong professional foundation, the team enjoys working together in an informal atmosphere. You will report to the Director of EPC Project Management.
The main Better Energy offices in Denmark are in Copenhagen, Sønderborg and Kolding. You will work from one of our offices. Working from home is also possible some days.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Initiating, finalising, and executing EPC contract on behalf of Better Energy EPC business unit.
- Ensuring EPC Business unit level resources on projects are managed as per the prioritisation set by the EPC management team
- Initiating, finalising and ongoing management of overall EPC budget (including indirect cost)
- Proper handover process is followed and there are no major outstanding risks that are overlooked before EPC formally takes over project into the construction phase.
- Work closely with relevant project team members to manage project risks, limit cost overruns and delivery delays that could result into claims and liquidated damages.
- Support in completing list of technical open points from tech advisor and prepare detailed EPC handover report in collaboration with relevant project team members
- Achieving EPC margin and project completion timeline as per the targets established by EPC management team.
- Issue change requests to EPC management team in case of EPC budget overrun and variation orders to EPC contract
- Responsible for ensuring effective and appropriate level of communication between project team members and EPC management.
- Facilitate regular EPC project schedule update process and ensure overall EPC portfolio plan is always updated with relevant project specific information.
- Responsible for reporting on overall EPC project status, deviation to EPC timeline, budget to Commercial Project Manager and EPC project team

Additionally, it is important that you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, economics, business administration or other similar disciplines.
- +3 years of documented experience managing infrastructure projects
- Capable of handling conflict and crisis situations
- Experienced in project leadership and high performing teams
- Comfortable in handling multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Attention to details and structured in communication
- Fluent in English and preferably also Danish
