Senior Azure Data Platform Consultant Wanted

At Unit IT, our Data consulting department is growing, and we are now looking for skilled people who can assist our customers with creating and improving their data platforms in Azure.

So, if you have a wide range of expertise in hybrid and cloud solutions using Microsoft's Azure technologies, and if you can lead the way in designing the best technical architecture for valuable Data and Business Intelligence solutions – you might be the Senior Data Platform Consultant we are looking for!

Who will you join?
You will be a part of a dynamic team of 20 dedicated data specialist with a wide range of competencies. Our main goal in the team is to go the extra mile for our customers every day and help them creating value through data solutions. It’s a part of our DNA to explore, learn and use the newest technology within the Microsoft data stack. It’s our believe that any data project starts by building a modern and robust data platform and that it’s even more important now when AI and Machine Learning is taking the agenda.

What will you do?
As our new Senior Data Platform Consultant, you will be engaging with customers, understanding and evaluating their needs, so that you can recommend technology options and opportunities. Additionally, your tasks will be to:

• Create architecture, designs and task descriptions
• Lead the implementation and maintain the technological overview
• Collaborate with the right colleagues and help them grow
• Follow up and focus on the next solution step for the customer
• Proactively ensure good teamwork and assist everyone from a junior consultant to a project manager

What are we looking for?
You have a senior consultant profile and have several years of experience with Azure. You enjoy and excel at being a "Trusted Advisor" when you talk to customers.

As a person, you are positive and proactive, and you work with focus and responsibility. You can provide high-quality service and are good at sharing and imparting knowledge - both to colleagues and customers.

If you, like us, are up-to-date and continuously curious about newest technologies and trends in working with data in Azure, e.g. Fabric – you will thrive in our environment. As our Senior Data Platform Consultant, you enjoy interaction with our clients and you have an interest in their business and organisational context and how it influences the choice of technology and the implementation. Additionally to succeed, you have:

• Great understanding of Azure infrastructure, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, DevOps, etc.
• Documented experience in designing and implementing Azure data solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills internally and externally
• Ideally certified in Azure and Azure Data Platform. E.g. AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-300 and/or DP-203
• Knowledge of both SQL infrastructure and Business Intelligence is a plus but not a must
• You can write and speak English fluently

In our Data consulting department, you will join teams that work on the projects we provide to customers. There are skilled colleagues to collaborate with, who have diverse methods and abilities. At the same time, you will also take care of smaller tasks for specific customers on your own.

In the department, we value a lot of autonomy under accountability and expect each person to share their knowledge both individually with colleagues and at our group meetings.

The job is 37 hours per week. The work hours are normally from 08:00 to 16:00. We can offer flexibility and remote work options depending on your daily duties.
