We are seeking an Industry Expert within Asset and Wealth Management to join our global strategy team to lead the continuous development and success of our corporate strategy and agenda.

What you will be responsible for

• 50% guiding management in understanding and translating market opportunities into SimCorp’s Corporate vision and strategy
• Contribute to “strategic insights and industry innovation” programs/forums
• Strategic analysis - monitoring markets, industry and competitive landscapes, distilling and feeding this intelligence into corporate strategic programs
• Help run and maintain a SimCorp M&A strategy to deliver on our corporate strategy in close collaboration with ExCo, Heads of Product and Commercial MDs
• Run strategic deep-dives on core subject areas engaging the wider organisation, leveraging on your industry knowledge and perspective
• Prepare C-suite reports on market dynamics, positioning and intelligence of the competitive landscape
• Contribute to thought leadership pieces in our industry that impact SimCorp clients and community

What we value (our requirements)

• Min. 7 years of experience from within the investment management function of an Asset Manager or a buy-side consultancy organisation.
• Strong understanding of the full value chain of an Asset Management organization, drivers and market landscape development.
• Insight into the software landscape for investment management and macro-trends shaping the future of the industry
• Experience from corporate strategy, M&A
• Experience from GTM roles and SimCorp Dimension will be a benefit, but not mandatory
• Empathic and thrive by working with people
• Great English communication skills, written as well as spoken, as English is our corporate language
