Are you prepared to drive the electrical foundation of the Cold End deliveries of new machines for all ROCKWOOL factories worldwide, greenfield and brownfields?
Your Future Team:
You will become part of Group Technology Cold End. We are a diverse team of presently 15 individuals. We represent 6-7 different nationalities across 3 locations, mainly in Denmark and Poland. We have expertise in mechanical, electrical, automation and process engineering as well as project management.
What you will be doing:
As an Electrical Engineer (Project Engineer), you will be a vital contributor throughout various project phases, from conceptual studies to design, testing, commissioning and providing engineering support on HW etc.
- Take ownership of the electrical scope for our electrical design down to component level.
- Lead the entire lifecycle of our technologies, from designing, procurement, testing (FAT), installation, commissioning (SAT), and to ensure full documentation.
- Own designed equipment through to Turnkey supplies.
- Communicate with suppliers and follow up to secure compliance with specific design needs and our company electrical design guidelines & standards
- Participate in budgeting and the development of tender material for suppliers
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other colleagues such as IT, mechanical, automation and civil to ensure seamless integration of electrical design with overall system functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in intralogistics technology, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge base.
- Participate in making the department an inspiring and rewarding place to work by sharing knowledge, support your colleagues in their professional growth and participate in developing and executing department strategies.
- Preferably knowledge of documenting and designing with E-plan.
Although your new desk will be located in the Nowy Rynek building in central Poznań, Poland, you will often travel primarily in Europe but could also be around North America and Asia – mostly to meet with colleagues and suppliers and to supervise the implementation of your projects. You can expect to travel 60-80 days per year, with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time. Know, however, that you will rarely be alone.

Furthermore, you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in the electrical design and implementation of systems within the intralogistics or automation industry.
- You are knowledgeable about the supplier landscape within intralogistics solutions for the industry.
- Electrical design and documentation in CAD software. Preferably in ePlan.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, and you are fluent in English
