Engineering Manager with a desire to build great products
Trackunit is looking for a stellar Engineering Manager to join our growing engineering team.

You will be leading one of our software engineering teams which owns and develops key functionality of our SaaS offering, which includes Trackunit Manager as well as our mobile applications GO and ON. The team is focusing on software capabilities to integrate Trackunit IoT Devices tightly with Construction Machinery to collect key data points at scale and in high quality. Our teams are building on top of our extendable platform Trackunit Iris that is made available for our customers.

You will be a part of a cross functional leadership team that includes other Engineering Managers as well as Product Managers. Together you are responsible for all aspects of the product areas within strategic product initiatives, including setting the direction as well as communication on current status and plans.

With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Kolding, and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from any of our hubs or remotely from anywhere in Denmark.

Primary responsibilities:

• You’re a people manager. You inspire, lead, and motivate team members to see their full potential and you will get energized from this. You will do this through impact conversations and regular 1:1’s, where you will touch base, provide and get constructive feedback.
• Facilitate the development process from planning to demos and onwards through retrospectives.
• Facilitate the ideation and definition of new features. We often co-create with our customers and take pride in breaking down complex problems into software that is easy to use.
• Define and maintain the strategic direction for your team in close collaboration with product management.
• Over time you will be an advocate for The Trackunit Way - which is our take on how to lead people and develop products in a fast growing SaaS company.

Our hiring process

• Meet and greet - likely on a virtual video call. Here you will meet the hiring manager and a colleague from our People & Talent team, and we’re looking forward to it!
• Personality based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment (we use Hogan) prior to the interview. In the interview, you will first of all get feedback, but the aim is primarily to have a dialogue about where you thrive, what we offer etc.
• Assignment-specific interview. Based on the learnings from the process you will be given a case to prepare. You will present the case to the hiring manager, a senior manager, relevant new colleagues and the People & Talents colleague. Preferably in person.
• Offer presentation and walk through.
