Senior Tax Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll work closely with colleagues from many different parts of our global organisation and provide input and advice on European countries’ direct and indirect tax with a particular focus on VAT for Germany. You'll work with a wide range of different projects within offshore and onshore wind, solar energy, and transmission of renewable electricity, all with the purpose of ensuring sustainable and robust solutions supporting the green transformation.

You’ll be part of Global Tax Compliance & Reporting where you, together with your colleagues, will apply and interpret legislation and international guidelines to a variety of international projects, and collaborate with your many colleagues about Tax compliance and reporting. As a team, we are curious, ambitious, and honest with a high focus on quality. We believe that communication, knowledge sharing, and technical skills are key to our success.
You’ll play an important role in:
- providing high-quality tax input to support our compliance and filing position
- assisting with indirect tax compliance, specifically for Germany, and staying in contact with tax authorities
- ensuring that domestic and international tax legislation is appropriately reflected in internal compliance processes
- engaging in digital transformation of tax processes.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have the bandwidth and skills to grasp, structure, and solve business challenges
- have relevant experience from in-house positions, law firms, tax advisors, or tax authorities
- are fluent in English both verbally and in writing
- take ownership and stay on course.
