In reflection of the company growth our Benefit & Compensation team needs more muscles to embark the exciting future of Abacus Medicine. Our Head of Group Compensation, Benefits & Mobility, Maja Dinsen, is building up the team and therefor looking for a Specialist to support her with the operations across the organization. While she is based at the HQ in Copenhagen, we are looking for a colleague to support her and our brilliant People & Culture team at our office in Budapest. Maja is an innovative and dedicate leader who will coach and support your development within the area of Compensation & Benefits and Mobility.

In this key position as a Compensation & Benefit Specialist, you'll be instrumental in structuring and supporting the compensation and benefits strategies making sure they are aligned with our business goals and industry standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Independently handling data mining tasks, including collection, reporting, analysis, and pay regression development. Hay evaluation experience is a plus.
• Understanding our existing operating markets, their practices and legislative regulations.
• Provide assistance with Compensation & Benefit data when we are opening offices in new markets.
• Support the collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders regarding compensation data and packages.
• We ask that you support colleagues by being at the office 3-4 days a week.
Future responsibilities and development areas within this role could be:
• Analyze internal pay equity and provide recommendations and improvements to en-sure consistency and compliance with legal requirements.
• Support the mobility process from start to finish. Including drafting cost estimates, coordinate with external vendors, guide the manager through the process and the estimate and guide and support the employee.
Fuel for your success in the role
You have around 2-3 years of previous experience working in a Compensation & Benefit role. As we will be a small team you will get lots of responsibilities as well as the opportunity to further develop your skills.
We imagine you have experiences as:
• You are a comfortable user of Excel with an eye for analytics.
• Experience of translating and analyzing data, trends and come with actionable insights.
• Focused on details, ensuring accuracy and maintaining confidentiality.
• Good collaboration skills with experience of working across the organization.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian are essential for effectively communicating with managers and employees cross our global organization.
• This role is located at our Budapest office and you can expect approximately 5 to 10 travel days per year.
