About the role
We are looking for Lead Automation Engineers to join our dynamic team of approximately 50 skilled and dedicated professionals in our Process Automation department. As a team, we provide consultancy, development, implementation, and validation of automation solutions for the pharma and biotech companies. You will be part of a team that sets new standards within automation in Denmark as well as worldwide.
Your role will be key in driving innovation and excellence in automation, ensuring our customers receive world-class solutions.

How you might spend your days
As a Lead Automation Engineer, you’ll:
- Advise customers on their selection of automation solutions.
- Design, construct, and commission/qualify process control systems.
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with project management to ensure timely action on project issues.
- Continuously optimize standards and guidelines.
- Work across a broad range of process areas such as fermentation, recovery and purification, freeze-drying, CIP/SIP, and various utility systems.
- Potentially engage with automation solutions for secondary production such as aseptic processing, packaging, and assembly technologies.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- An engineering or technical degree with experience in automation projects or production environments.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience within automation, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry under GMP and GAMP regulatory requirements.
- Practical knowledge of PCS or SCADA systems and experience with control systems such as Sattline, 800xA,
- DeltaV/Syncade, PCS7, iFix/iHistorian/iBatch, and PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley).
