Senior Engineers – Process engineering within CCS

We are looking for experienced Process Engineers within Carbon Capture and Storage to strengthen our CCS Process team. As a Process Engineer, you will execute the design stages of carbon capture and storage projects, including C-study, Basic, FEED, and detailed design.
About the position
As part of Aibel’s team, you will have the opportunity to perform process calculations and simulations in carbon capture and storage projects. You will be working in a team with strong technical expertise and a multidisciplinary mindset.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
- Prepare PFD, P&ID, line lists and design reports
- Gas treatment and carbon capture in onshore gas plant
- Proficiency in Process simulations
- Technology evaluations
- Develop and review project philosophies and specifications
- Prepare and actively participate in HAZOP, design reviews and other relevant safety reviews
Qualifications
- Higher technical education within chemical/process engineering (BSc, MSc, PhD)
- Min. 5 years' relevant working experience in engineering
- Experience from NCS or Norwegian onshore projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, Ptil/PSA, API standards
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
