JOB TITLE - Head of Internal Communications
LOCATION - Copenhagen (HQ)
HOURS - Full Time

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Internal Communications to join our team and establish a new Internal Communications team. As the Head of Internal Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives, enhances employee engagement, and supports our organizational culture across Scandinavian Tobacco Group. You will be reporting directly to our Chief HR Officer and be an integrated part of the Global HR leadership team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Developing and executing a strategic internal communications plan aligned with our business goals and organizational culture
  • Establishing the Internal Communications team, including designing processes, systems, and team structure
  • Creating and managing multi-channel internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters, town halls, digital signage)
  • Developing and implementing communication strategies for major organizational initiatives, changes, and announcements
  • Join post mercer integration team to enable us to onboard new businesses into STG
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to craft and disseminate key messages to employees
  • Advising leaders on effective communication strategies and providing coaching as needed
  • Developing and managing crisis communication plans for internal audiences
  • Creating and overseeing the production of engaging content for various internal communication channels
  • Establishing metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  • Collaborate closely with Investor Relations & External Communication
  • Managing the internal communications budget and resources
  • Staying current with best practices and emerging trends in internal communications

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years focusing on internal communications in an international leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communication strategies
  • Experience in establishing new departments or functions within an organization
  • Strong understanding of various communication channels and their effective use in an organizational context
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms
  • Experience in change management communications and crisis communications
  • Experience from a combined office and manufacturing environments is a plus Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in building and developing teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field; master's degree preferred
  • International experience or exposure to global organizations is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English and Danish is required; additional languages are a plus
