As aSenior Cloud Java Developer, you will become an integral part of our consultancy team at KMD Services, within the Application Development & Modernization department. Your role will be to advise and assist clients with their challenges. Our tasks range from small advisory and pilot projects to large, long-term modernization and development projects. Our senior consultants typically work across the entire value chain, from pre-sales and proposals to project delivery and handover to maintenance – a process we call "Sell & Deliver."

Responsibilities:

• Cloud-native Java development expertise
• Legacy modernization to cloud-native
• Design and deployment in a microservice architecture
• Setup and automation with CI/CD tools
• Review, feedback, and documentation
• Client advisory on methods and tools selection
• Sales support and estimation

About You:
As a new colleague, you are ambitious, structured, methodical, persistent, and dedicated to your tasks and responsibilities. You understand the importance of building relationships and achieving results internally and externally through collaboration.

Professional Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Java, Containerization, Kubernetes & Linux
• Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture like Kafka and NoSQL databases
• Experienced in implementing cloud-based solutions
• API design, management, and development including security
• Familiarity with AI and LLMs is an advantage
• Professional background in computer science/software development or similar
• Cloud certification as a developer
• Minimum of 5 years in software development
• Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• You stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and software development, including open source and AI.
• Fluent in Danish and English
