Unique opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced CAD Specialist to join our FRW & Commercial team, where you will report into the Director of Modular Skylight Solutions & CAD Management; Jaime Pinto Fuentes.

We offer
An exciting role, where you will be part of ensuring the documentation quality is in accordance with our standards through effective use of CAD/PDM software (SolidWorks/SW-PDM) and CAD/PLM software (CREO/Windchill).

You will be part of developing guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality 3D and 2D documentation while maintaining consistent terminology across all products.

Additionally, this role focuses on establishing metadata and a framework for data processing, as well as providing training.

You will be based in our Østbirk office and some travel can be expected.

Responsibilities

• Documentation Quality: Ensure documentation quality in accordance with company standards using CAD/PDM (SolidWorks/SW-PDM) and CAD/PLM (CREO/WindChill) software
• Guideline Development: Develop and implement guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality 2D and 3D documentation across FRW & Commercial products
• Terminology Consistency: Ensure consistent use of terminology across FRW & Commercial products
• Metadata and Framework: Establish and maintain metadata and a robust framework for data processing
• Employee Training: Provide comprehensive training for departmental employees on CAD/PDM/PLM tools and best practices
• Process Development: Contribute to process development and the overall CAD architecture and strategy
• Performance Excellence: Ensure process performance excellence, focusing on data quality in PDM/PLM, and adherence to plans and promises
• Strategy and Competence Development: Take an active role in creating an implementing a CAD/PDM/PLM strategy, and develop competence and excellence plans for the team
• Knowledge: Keeping up to date with the latest CAD software tools and technologies.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Industrial Design or a related field combined with solid experience from a similar role.

You have solid experience with CAD/PDM software (SolidWorks/SW-PDM) and CAD/PLM software (CREO/WindChill) and preferably have certifications in the field.

Furthermore you have:

• Strong understanding of documentation standards and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Drawing standards and best practices for creating detailed engineering drawings
• Understanding of user-friendly interfaces for CAD software applications
• Skills in automating tasks and workflows within CAD software using scripting or automation tools
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
