As a senior systems engineer, you will join a project team at the forefront of developing market-leading carbon-neutral dual fuel systems for the maritime sector.

You will play an important role in:

  • Join a newly established team and actively contribute to define processes, roles, and responsibilities in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with highly skilled specialists across various disciplines in the development of hydraulically controlled fuel and exhaust systems.
  • Utilise your professional experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to work with multiple domain specialists, defining requirements and model architecture to support digital integration of cross-functional product development processes.

Strategic and project management responsibilities

  • Support strategic and tactical technical roadmap for the digitalisation of lifecycle processes.
  • Develop and lead new projects, proof of concepts, and activities aligned with the mission and goals of the Lifecycle Processes and Digital Applications department.
  • Support the PLM strategy programme for the 2-stroke engine organisation, encompassing the full product lifecycle management.

We imagine that you bring:

  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and a collaborative approach.
  • Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or similar within Systems engineering.
  • Extensive professional experience in systems engineering, focusing on digital engineering and MBSE.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards and best practices (INCOSE).
  • Proficiency in MBSE tools and system modelling languages.
  • Expertise in PLM software solutions. Experience with ARAS Innovator is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience in product development processes and change management.
  • Familiarity with master data management.
  • Experience with digital twin and digital thread implementation.
  • Experience with Agile working methods.
  • Experience in solution implementation on ARAS PLM.
  • Familiarity with CAD-PLM-Simulation Environments.

We are a part of a unified Engineering Two-Stroke organisation with the clear ambition to reflect our role as the crankshaft of the MAN ES Engine lifecycle, responsible for the overall end-to-end processes covering the full engine lifecycle.
