About the job
Service in Business Unit Energy Separation has high priority with a clear growth strategy and focus on improving the customer experience. We now need to strengthen our central team with an additional resource, and this is why we are looking for YOU our next Senior Product Engineer - Mining Decanter.
As a Senior Product Engineer - Mining Decanter, you play a crucial role in advancing our customer experience.
Your key tasks will be:
- Support and execute commissioning & Site acceptance test of new installations.
- Process optimization and troubleshooting on Decanter’s installations.
- Training of our field service engineers and customers.
- Technical support for Decanters (Remote support, helpdesk, claims investigations etc.)
- Work in close co-operation with the entire central business unit organization.
- Frequent contacts with our sales companies and directly with customers regarding technical support, commissioning, and product training.
Who you are
You are a strong team player who is also capable of working independently. We believe you are service-minded and customer-focused, with the ability to easily form contacts in a global environment.
Flexibility and excellent communication skills are essential qualities for this role.
What you know
You have a bachelor/ master’s degree in engineering (process / chemical). We trust you bring 5-10 years or experience within the Process Industry; mining environment knowledge is an asset. You have hands on experience with onsite commissioning & trouble shooting work as well as Siemens PLCs. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level are a must for this role
Electrical & Instrumentation knowledge is a plus
