The Learning Services business is seeking a dynamic scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be the global point person for Gas Chromatography customer training development. Apply your industry knowledge, technical expertise, and understanding of our customer's strategic business goals to identify, develop, and deliver technical training solutions for Agilent Gas Chromatography instruments and workflows. In addition, manage global contractors for GC development.
You will collaborate closely with customers, contractors, and internal organizations to design, develop, and facilitate the transition of customer learning solutions to the global delivery teams while maintaining oversight of training quality and customer acceptance.
Your key Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops education solutions for instructor-led, virtual training and online eLearning using instructional design principles. Training material may include laboratories, lectures, eLearning modules, eManuals, assessments, videos, webinars, and animations.
- Collaborates with a cross-functional team of experts to resolve appropriate curriculum and course content including product support, product managers, regional specialists, customers, and industry leaders.
- Adheres to training development standards, guidelines, quality, and regulatory requirements as indicated by the Learning Service's product life cycle.
- Maintains a high level of technical expertise in the areas of Gas Chromatography and analytical chemistry methodology.
- Project manages education product development with vendors and consultants.
- Supports the deployment of courses to the local delivery organizations to ensure a seamless transition from R&D to delivery.
- Delivers select training through a variety of mediums including video and virtual modalities.
- Leads and participates in various projects to support improvements in the development and delivery function of the customer education business, i.e. testing new forms of delivery.
This position can be remotely based, preferably close to one of our demo labs in either Copenhagen (Denmark), Waldbronn (Germany), Paris (France) or Cheadle (UK). Applications across these countries are also welcome.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD Degree in a related field, e.g., analytical chemistry
- Several years of relevant work experience; including specific experience working in/around regulated laboratory environments
- Excellent working knowledge of Agilent OpenLab CDS software platform
- Knowledge of Agilent Gas Chromatography systems and techniques including method workflows and GC method development
- Practical experience with Agilent GC troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
