Key account manager DACHIT - North Germany

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to target the upholstery market in the DACHIT region

About the job:
As our new Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for our Upholstery brands SITS and Flexlux, focusing on building and maintaining strong customer relationships in both the niche and mass market.

You will be using your expertise to create the best solutions for our customers and be part of the process surrounding White label production. In these processes you will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by targeting and developing relationships with customers in the DACHIT upholstery market.
  • Develop and execute local sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets for the SITS and Flexlux brands.
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and supply chain teams, to align initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Managing White Label solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows and events to promote products and expand the customer base.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Who are you
This international role requires a deep understanding of commercial strategies and sales flair from your experience working in furniture sales. You have a winning-mentality and is result-driven, you have a strong drive and are a proven self-starter. Teamwork is also a corner stone at Actona Group and we believe in common success, therefore you should be motivated to work both individual and with colleagues.

You will be opening doors to new customers, and you therefore excel in maintaining and building strong relationships with customers. You are open to travel as this is an integral part of this job.

We imagine that this will describe you as well:

  • You have a relevant education: e.g. bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the furniture or related industry targeting the upholstery market.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • In-depth commercial understanding and sales flair.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, structured and as part of a team in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Native German is mandatory as well as great conversational English.
