We are a global leader in the fire safety industry, committed to protecting lives and property through innovative and reliable products. our team is dedicated to excellence in service, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join us as an account manager for our fire safety division at Honeywell building automation sales organization.

You will be based in Copenhagen and assigned to customers covering Denmark.

You will build relationships and understand your market and each of your customer’s and prospect’s businesses to provide appropriate products or solutions and to understand the unique value proposition for each customer.
We hope that you have some technical background and a good understanding of “the internet of things” and ‘smart buildings’.

You will define account sales and growth strategies while aligning with critical sales business objectives.

You will be accountable for growing market share in your assigned area by acquiring new customers and growing wallet share with existing customers through cross and up selling activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute sales processes in line with standardized procedures.
  • Carry out sales activities according to territorial plans within the geographical area and key account plans for defined kam customers.
  • Drive sales to defined customers within the assigned geographical area.
  • Take ownership of personal sales targets in alignment with established goals.
  • Report directly to the Nordic Sales Manager.

Primary objectives & tasks:

  • Proactively engage in sales activities to create and develop customer relationships.
  • Lead the introduction of new products (NPI) to customers and consultants.
  • Prepare and manage quotations in NEX, ensuring regular status updates.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones.
  • Complete reporting and forecasting within set deadlines.
  • Observe and communicate relevant market information.
  • Actively contribute to sales meetings and other relevant gatherings.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement within the sales department.
  • Complete required training in the learning hub and report any HSE incidents.
  • Perform other sales-related tasks as assigned by the sales manager, Nordics.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or trained as an electrician or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in selling technical products.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in using software.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including both day trips and multi-day trips.
  • Resilient and stable under a high-paced work environment.
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of fire alarm systems, voice alarm systems, and aspiration detectors, as well as related systems.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
