To succeed in the job
You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience from a Chartering position in the dry bulk segment, and possess a strong, global industry network to support our continued growth within the MPP & Minibulk Services segment.

You are a true team player, yet capable of working independently by taking ownership of your tasks; your follow-up and ability to deliver are second to none. You take pride in delivering excellent service to our customers, and skills such as persistence, overview, and can-do attitude will support our ambition of being “A Partner You Can Trust”.

Furthermore, we expect that you have/are:

• Experience with a project-oriented focus
• A self-starter who can proactively identify business opportunities

What you will be doing
You will find yourself in a varied job within a busy and buzzing environment with an informal tone, where initiative and innovation are encouraged. You will be in daily contact with colleagues and stakeholders worldwide and work in close collaboration with colleagues across the Copenhagen, Cape Town, and Singapore offices.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and pursuing prospective markets, trades, and clients
• Fixing own vessels in the market, on voyage charter or time charter
• Procuring vessels for our cargo commitments, be that under our long term industrial COAs or spot basis
• Creating, negotiating, and executing both single and multiple cargo contracts
• Identifying and negotiating short period tonnage
• Reviewing counterpart risk on an ongoing basis
• Being adaptable and resolute to take positions in the market
• Actively participating in and supporting our global presence through communication with our local offices around the world
• Close coordination to create synergy with our Copenhagen, Singapore and Cape Town offices on positioning ships
• Visits to our industrial clients and brokers

In the MPP & Minibulk Services team, we operate 15-20 multipurpose (MPP) and smaller handysize vessels on a global scale, with a primary focus on the African continent. Our dedicated team of 7 colleagues is spread across Copenhagen, Singapore, and Shanghai. Being a compact team, we emphasise strong support and collaboration in our daily tasks. We work in close cooperation with our other parcel division, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
