Toms Gruppen, located in Ballerup, is looking for an experienced and high performing Finance Manager to join Group Finance.

Your role
As our new Finance Manager, you will be a visible and important leader in the Toms Group organization - responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes across the organization.

You will ensure compliance to all general accounting policies and company financial procedures. Monitoring the financial management and production of credible financial information provided by your team consisting of four direct reports – totally 13 competent colleagues in Denmark and Poland.

Your key responsibilities can be described as follows:

• Lead and develop the financial accounting and controlling team of 13 colleagues
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
• Consolidation and financial controlling of the organization’s financials
• Coordinate and drive the financial forecasting process in close collaboration with the business finance and business managers
• Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met, including statutory reporting, VAT and indirect tax reporting
• Responsible for the Groups ESG related compliance reporting (CSRD and Taxonomy primarily)
• Optimise cash flow and cash flow forecasting, including Execute the currency hedging according to the approved policy
• Support the CFO in daily business and various number of ad-hoc projects and priorities

You will report to Lars Henrik Vejrup Hansen, Group CFO. You should be prepared for some travel activity - estimated to app. 10 days a year.

About you
We are looking for you who have a solid financial background, combined with leadership, and management skills. Analytical, robust, good a decision making and driving projects. You see yourself as a visible leader with strong interpersonal skills and a good track record within financial business optimization making you able to unfold the potential of a team. You will operate across the organisation and should build business acumen through a natural curiosity and desire to grow.

• +5 years’ experience from positions as Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Group Controller or similar
• Master of Accounting (Cand.merc.aud) or HD(R) with a background from similar positions in international production or FMCG companies
• Experience from a company with consolidation of accounts
• Strong user of IT and ERP-systems (SAP)
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English
