Your position
As our new Construction Manager, you will be joining our Renewables Division where we handle several large-scale multidiscipline EPCI projects, which are to be constructed in Denmark, Asia and Poland. Your role will be key in driving the growth of our offshore wind business, as you will be responsible for overseeing all processes of the construction activities.

Your tasks & responsibilities
The Construction Manager is the link between our Site and the Project Manager or Director. Your largest responsibility as a Construction Manager at Semco Maritime will be to ensure that the projects are built safely and within the agreed timeframe and budget. Furthermore, you will be the HSE example everybody needs to look up to and is responsible for upholding safety standards together with the HSE specialist.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Organizing and performing construction work, all site activities, including resource planning
- Creating job packages for site installation activities
- Client interface and project meetings
- Overall HSE responsible
- Ensure budget compliance.
- Developing weekly status and progress reports including monthly financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with the project schedule and quality of work
Your profile
As Construction Manager on our large-scale projects we expect you to have a technical interest and background and that you have several years of experience in construction or site Management preferably from the renewable energy sector such as offshore Wind or Power Plants.
It is at the same time crucial for you to succeed in this role, that you have excellent skills in working with people from many different backgrounds and enjoy creating and contributing to a good working environment and that you manage to inspire and motivate your team and show flexibility to adapt to changing project conditions.
To succeed in this position, we also expect that you have the following qualifications:
- Have technical knowledge.
- Possess good IT-skills.
- Have experience in management of sites / large projects.
- Have a proven track record within team management – either through project management and/or Team Lead roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively convey project updates and objectives.
- Have experience from working on construction sites.
- Preferably have some practical experience from the offshore business
